What started off as a suggested tear down and build new project, ended in the client acquiring a new home, essentially encompassed in the original 1970’s California Ranch.
With only the slab, foundation, roof structure and a few wall studs retained, we were able to integrate several new points of structural steel that created the unique (obstruction free) corner windows in the foyer and MBR as well as eliminating structural center walls, low ceilings and obtrusive stairways.
An expansive new kitchen, five new baths and two new outdoor entertaining areas created the perfect environment for this young family to grow into. The results are a spectacular modern open floor plan, flooded with natural light and views to outdoors.
